Salted Egg Yolk-Making
22 March, 2022
Do you like salted egg yolk dishes or snacks?
Tai O fishermen have a unique way to make salted egg yolks, with JUST the yolks!
The traditional steps to preserve salted egg yolks are simple:
1) Wrap a thin layer of sea salt over the surface of duck egg yolks with bare hands,
2) Place egg yolks on a large bamboo tray, and
3) Left exposed to the sun for two to three days until dried out.
